5 Month Checkup

On March 7 the boy had his 5 month checkup. He got 2 shots - Polio and Hep B. We were finally able to tell the doctor that Desmond was sleeping in his bassinet at night, instead of on Ron, which made us feel good about ourselves. (It's something we've been working on since, oh - birth).

4 Month Checkup

On February 13 Desmond had his 4 month checkup. He got his 2nd round of vaccinations, which included 3 shots. He didn't enjoy the shots, but we were able to calm him down pretty quickly with some cuddling and nursing. I thought that was the end of it, but he got really fussy later in the day - I actually had to leave Baby Boot Camp in the middle of a class, he was screaming so majestically. I gave him some baby Tylenol once we got home, and that seemed to help a bit. Maybe next time I'll give it to him before the appointment?
